Alumni Memories
In conjunction with the WWI Memorial Stadium dedication on April 21, 2017, a class within K-State’s Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Community Planning launched a project to develop plans for making the historical stadium area a vibrant community on campus for generations to come. To get a better understanding of how prior generations used and remembered Memorial Stadium, the class sought the Alumni Association’s assistance in collecting memories from alumni. Following is a selection of the more than 150 memories submitted for the project.
