Student Alumni Board – Here's how to apply
Step 1:
- All applicants should make a 50-60 second video of why you would be a great fit for SAB and why you would like to join.
- Name your video using your first and last name, and send an MP4 file (not a link) through Microsoft Teams to Tamie Redding, associate director of student programs, by Jan. 29, 2025, at 12 p.m. (noon).
- If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft Teams, please reach out to Tamie at tredding@ksu.edu and she would be happy to walk you through the process.

Step 2:
- Submit the application using our online form by Jan. 29, 2025, at 12 p.m. (noon).
- If you'd like a copy of the questions on the form before you begin filling out the application, you can fill out our simple "request more info" form to receive an email with detailed instructions.
Step 3:
- 2024-2025 dates to add to your calendar for SAB applicants:
- SAB informational session - Tuesday, Nov. 19, 6 p.m., K-State Alumni Center
- SAB informational session - Monday, Jan. 27, 6 p.m., K-State Alumni Center
- First round interview (10 min.) - Thursday, Feb. 6, between 1-4 p.m.
- Second round interview (10 min.) - Sunday, Feb. 16, between 1-3 p.m.
- New member orientation - Thursday, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m.
- New member training - Every Wednesday, 7:15-8:15 a.m. starting Feb. 26
- SAB monthly meeting - Monday, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m.
- SAB monthly meeting - Monday, March 31, at 6 p.m.
- SAB monthly meeting - Monday, April 28, at 6 p.m.
- For Sophomores Only event - Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12
