EVENTS FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

Wildcats Forever
SAB facilitates all aspects of Wildcats Forever, the K-State Student Alumni Association. SAB helps promote the program and coordinates events and benefits for one of the largest student groups on the K-State campus.

Grad Bash
Each year, SAB hosts graduating students at Grad Bash in May and December. These events provide an opportunity to inform graduating students about the benefits of membership in the K-State Alumni Association. The event features free food and drinks, live music and prizes.

Purple Pursuit
SAB welcomes new students to campus each fall. New K-Staters can stop by the Alumni Center to learn about the Association's student programs with a bit of trivia and also participate in prize drawings for those that finish the challenge.

EVENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

For Sophomores Only
SAB facilitates all aspects of this fun, two-day workshop for high school sophomores and their parents. They have an opportunity to visit the campus during one of its most exciting and informative times – All-University Open House – and get to enjoy some of the great facilities as college students do. For Sophomores Only answers questions about enrollment, financial aid and other student life issues.

EVENTS FOR ALUMNI

Distinguished Young Alumni Award
The Distinguished Young Alumni program recognizes two Kansas State University graduates who are excelling in their professions and contributing to their communities. Nominations are welcomed by anyone in the Kansas State University community. Learn more about the Distinguished Young Alumni Awards.

Hosting Alumni
SAB assists the Alumni Association with alumni visiting campus by guiding campus tours and answering questions about K-State. 

SAB Office Hours
SAB members have one office hour per week during their first year on SAB. During this time they work on projects and events that are listed on this page. They also occasionally assist the Alumni Association with its programs.

Presidential Suite Hosts
SAB members have the opportunity to host special guests in the Presidential Suite at home football games.
