Adam Walker '04, '09 - president and CEO
Adam Walker, Ed.D. ’04, ’09 was named the Association’s next president and CEO in
                           2023. He has more than 20 years of higher education and athletics administration experience
                           including fundraising and alumni relations at three major universities. 
Adam serves as the chief administrator and guides all strategic management, finance/revenue,
                           and overall vision for the Association. He also serves as a member of the university
                           President’s Cabinet, ex-officio member of the KSU Foundation Board, publisher of the
                           K-Stater magazine, as well as serving as the secretary and liaison to the Alumni Association's
                           Board of Directors.
Adam holds two degrees from K-State, a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and a master’s
                           degree in education. He is an experienced higher education and athletics administrator
                           with more than 20 years of experience. He was a member of the K-State track and field
                           team, finishing second in the weight throw at the Big 12 Championships, and remains
                           on the top 10 all-time list at K-State. 
After graduation, Adam worked at his alma mater in admissions and at the KSU Foundation.
                           After his time at K-State, Walker was an athletics administrator at both UCF and the
                           University of Memphis for 15 years. He completed his Doctor of Education from the
                           University of Memphis in 2013 and has taught as an adjunct professor since (including
                           at K-State). Adam is married to Rebecca Walker '08 and has two daughters, Addison
                           (2010) and Landree (2022).
