About the Scholarship:

The Wabash CannonBall North Texas Scholarship program provides scholarships for North Texas-area high school seniors who plan to attend Kansas State University. It is funded through alumni events held in the North Texas area, including the Kansas State Texans golf tournaments held each year, as well as the North Texas Boots & BBQ sponsorships. Each attendee has the opportunity to donate to the scholarship endowment.

Scholarship Details:

• Award Amount: $5,000 for the academic school year
• Disbursement: $2,500 at the start of the fall semester, $2,500 at the start of the spring semester
• Enrollment Requirement: Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours per semester
• Renewal: Non-renewable

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the 2026–2027 scholarship, applicants must:

• Be admitted to Kansas State University for the Fall 2026 term
• Complete the K-State Scholarship Network (KSN) application by Feb. 1, 2026, at 5 p.m. CST
• Must be a high school senior in the North Texas area
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (weighted or unweighted)
   

***Scholarship recipients are selected solely by the university scholarship committee, not by the K-State Alumni Association.
