Houston-area K-State alumni and friends celebrated K-State in style at The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa on Jan. 17, 2020. It was an evening of dining, dancing and raising scholarship money for Houston-area students to attend K-State.

Over the past five years, the K-State Alumni Association has awarded scholarships to numerous Houston-area students and increased the endowed scholarship fund. We sincerely thank our sponsors and attendees for their generous donations.

“Receiving this scholarship helps me to be able to pursue the education of my dreams!" said Jenna Gazaway, a 2020 scholarship recipient majoring in elementary education. "While my parents are trying to help with college, I am mostly financially independent. The most important thing is to obtain my education, and I wouldn't be able to do that without the help of such generous K-State alumni. Thank you!"
