Nominate a graduate for the Distinguished Young Alumni Award
Student Alumni Board and the K-State Alumni Association board of directors are seeking nominations for the Distinguished Young Alumni Award.
The award, which was established in 2012, recognizes two Kansas State University graduates who are using the leadership and service experience they acquired at K-State to excel in their professions and contribute to their communities.
“The Distinguished Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni 35 and younger who are succeeding professionally and using the knowledge they gained at K-State to make the world around them a better place,” said Tamie Redding, assistant director of student programs for the Alumni Association and SAB advisor.
Anyone may nominate a graduate for this award. The nominee must be 35 or younger as of Oct. 27, 2023, and have graduated from K-State. Nominations are due on Oct. 27. Questions can be directed to Redding at 785-532-5056 or tredding@k-state.com.
Selections will be made by a committee of Student Alumni Board members and members of the Alumni Association board of directors. The award recipients will be notified in late November. Award recipients will have an opportunity to deliver keynote speeches and spend time speaking to students and university classes, as well as speak to the new students at August Convocation.
