Student Ambassadors

Happy Homecoming Week, Wildcats! For more than 40 years the Kansas State University student body has elected two Student Ambassadors during All-University Homecoming to represent their peers and the K-State Alumni Association at alumni and university events. This week, K-State students will continue that tradition.

Students may vote for two candidates of their choice here. Online voting will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24.

Ambassadors serve a one-year term, and each receive the Kirk Family Student Ambassador Scholarship of $2,500, clothing from Borck Bros. and the official K-State ring from the Alumni Association.

This year’s candidates are:

  • Emily Jones
  • Lakota Persing
  • Megan Ward
  • Andrew Le
  • Jack O'Malley
  • Dalton Simmer

The winners will be announced during the pregame program at the Homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Homecoming has been a tradition at K-State for more than 100 years. This year’s theme is “Wildcats: Then. Now. Forever.” The week-long celebration will take place from Oct. 20-26 and is facilitated by the K-State Alumni Association and the K-State All-University Homecoming committee.
