K-State Alumni Club awards scholarships to students in the St. Joseph area

St. Joseph K-State Alumni Club

Twelve area students have been awarded scholarships to Kansas State University totaling $4,800. The scholarships were awarded by the St. Joseph Alumni Club, K-State Alumni Association and the Col. Gayle Foster Endowed Scholarship Fund.

The recipients are: 

Aspen Daniel, Maysville High School

Acacia Erdley, Hiawatha High School

Cammie Justus, Maysville High School

Anthony Kamer, St. James Academy High School

Jude Maxey, Central High School 

Ella McKelvey, Atchison County Community High School

Tyler Willich, Hiawatha High School

Kathryn Duncan, Park Hill South High School 

Isaac Johnson, Central High School

Owen Marinchek, Savannah High School

Aaron McAllister, Central High School

Peyton Wagner, Central High School

“We are so pleased to congratulate these outstanding students,” said Alan Fankhauser, associate director of alumni programs for the K-State Alumni Association. “The Alumni Association board of directors is committed to helping prospective students attend K-State. We greatly appreciate local alumni and friends who have helped make these awards possible through their loyal support.”

The scholarships are for the 2025-26 academic year. The Alumni Association annually awards more than $650,000 in student scholarships with funding provided by local K-State alumni and friends and Alumni Association programming.
