Community invited to K-State’s Alumni Association’s 150th celebration — guest appearances from Coach Tang and Willie the Wildcat
The K-State Alumni Association is throwing a party to celebrate its 150th anniversary on Sept. 27. This family-friendly event is open to the community and free to attend.
From 4-7 p.m. outside the K-State Alumni Center and WWI Memorial Stadium will have inflatables, yard games, face painting stations, free beer, margaritas, and more. Food trucks will also be on site for individuals to purchase from.
The celebration will also include guest appearances from Coach Jerome Tang and Willie the Wildcat with performances from the K-State Marching Band and In-A-Chord.
Additionally, there will be tables on site with various giveaways.
“We’re excited to celebrate our Alumni Association’s 150-year legacy of carrying the banner high for K‑Staters everywhere,” said Adam Walker ’04, ’09, president and CEO of the K-State Alumni Association. “We want to celebrate this milestone with our entire K-State family. We hope to see you there.”
The Alumni Association’s 150th celebration event is sponsored by the KSU Foundation and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas. The Association would also like to thank the following supporters: Wildcat NIL, KDOT, Manhattan Brewing Company and KC Bier Co.
