Ralph L. Foster 1922, 1927 was elected executive secretary on April 18, 1924, and took up the duties of the office May 16, 1924.

According to the book History of Kansas State College of Agriculture and Applied Science (published in 1940 and written by 1883 graduate Julius Terrass Willard):

"Much constructive work was done during his incumbency. ... This included supporting the legislative program of the College, promoting the sale of life memberships, and thus improving the financial basis of the Association, and a plan for a reunion of each class at five-year intervals from the year of graduation."
