Oley W. Weaver 1911 began his service July 16, 1922. According to the book History of Kansas State College of Agriculture and Applied Science (published in 1940 and written by 1883 graduate Julius Terrass Willard), under Weaver's administration a directory of alumni was prepared and then issued in February 1923. Record-keeping has long been an important role of the K-State Alumni Association. 

Some of Weaver's other employment included the ad department of the Daily Eagle in Wichita, Kansas, and working in the newspaper business in Wyoming (source).
