Homecoming Committee donates to the Cats’ Cupboard
The K-State Student Homecoming Committee has donated $8,000 to Cats’ Cupboard: the K-State Food Pantry. The funds were raised from proceeds collected at the 2024 K-State Homecoming Philanthropy 5K Run/Walk.

Although K-State Homecoming has drawn to a close, Emily Jones and Dalton Simmer are just now getting ready to start a new adventure. Jones and Simmer were elected by their peers during Homecoming week to serve as the 2025 K-State Student Ambassadors.

The 2024 Homecoming parade will take place at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. The K-State Alumni Association encourages all campus groups, alumni and community members to join the fun.

Darren Sproles to serve as grand marshal for 2024 Homecoming Parade
One of the most prolific runners and all-purpose performers in college football history, Darren Sproles ’05 will be the grand marshal of the 2024 Homecoming Parade. He was selected for the honor by the All-University Homecoming Committee and the K-State Alumni Association.

The K-State Alumni Association invites Kansas State University students, alumni and friends everywhere to kick off K-State’s 2024 Homecoming week by participating in a virtual and in-person Homecoming Philanthropy 5K Run/Walk. The Homecoming 5K is sponsored by WTC Fiber Internet.
K-State Alumni Association announces 2024 Homecoming theme, grand marshal and more
Wildcats: Then. Now. Forever. will be the theme for the 2024 celebration, and Darren Sproles ’05 will serve as the grand marshal of the Homecoming Parade. Sproles played running back for K-State from 2001-2004 and is one of the most prolific runners and all-purpose performers in college football history.
