Alumni Association to celebrate graduates at International Graduation Celebration
The K-State Alumni Association will honor international students graduating in May, August and December 2019 at the International Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, April 24. All graduating international students are invited to this event.
The celebration will take place at 4 p.m. in the K-State Alumni Center's Ballroom and will feature free food, drinks and prizes.
Additionally, the Alumni Association will present four students with the International Leadership Awards for their service and contributions to K-State.
The 2019 International Leadership Award recipients are:
• Chengyao Gao, bachelor's candidate in mechanical engineering, Shenyang, China
• Lolwa Alfoudari, bachelor's candidate in architectural engineering, Kuwait City, Kuwait
• Mahima Suresh, master's candidate in architecture, Bangalore, India
• Thiba Nagaraja, bachelor's candidate in industrial engineering, Puchong, Malaysia
The event is free for upcoming graduates and one guest each. RSVPs are required, and they are due by April 22. RSVP online or learn more about the event.
